This is an example of how to use ap_gen_to_slic_job.py. By modifying the job script (including subsequent recompilation of hps-mc), this example can also be used to produce prompt or delayed signals. For the delayed signals, the parameter “ctau” needs to be set in jobs.json.

Job template

This example includes a job template. The variables used in this template mostly have the same name and meaning as the job parameters above. Their values are set in vars.json. In addition to the job parameters, vars.json contains the variable apmass_for_name which is only used to name the output files in a consistent and informative way.
